Factors Related to Postmanagement Performance of Workers with General Disease in Small and Medium Sized Enterprises

Abstract
In order to evaluate the factors related to post-management performance of workers with general disease in small and medium sized enterprise (50-300 employees), this study was carried out.
Two hundred and fifteen workers among 385 workers with general disease were responded to the questionnaire on general and occupational characteristics, notification of the result, attitude of health examination, understanding on the result and
medical
advice by health officers.
The relations between post-management performance and related variables were analysed using x*-test and logistic regression analysis.
@ES The results were as follows:
@EN 1. The performance of post-management was not related with following variables of sex, age, educational level, daily working hours, type of disease, notification of results of health examination, necessity and usefulness of health
examination.
2. Type of occupation, satisfaction of health examination, degree of undersanding on result of health examination showed significant relations with the performance of post-management.
3. With the logistic regression analysis, type of occupation, degree of understanding on result of health examination, medical advice of health officer were significant variables accounting for the post-management performance.
4. 38.6% of workers with general disease did not performed post-management.
The results of this study suggested that more detailed interpretation of health examination result and adequate medical advice by health personnel be the most important matters in performing of more appropriate post-management.
